LP Show 2025

The 2nd annual LP Show, curated by Bobby Adams, brought together 100 Portland-based artists to reimagine an album cover in their style. Opening in September 2025 at Albina Press NE, the show was also turned into a book called 100 Artists, 100 Albums.

Artist Statement

Death Cab for Cutie / Transatlanticism (2003)

I knew right away that I was going to paint a silly version of the tangled-up crow. Although I mostly create art that could be described as joyful, I gravitate towards sad music. I find Death Cab for Cutie's devastating lyrics reassuring, perhaps because they give me a [tiny] vessel for my own melancholy indulgences.
