My name is Emi, though I sign my work as Pip (my nickname growing up).

My work reflects a yearning for the honesty and tenderness of childhood. I love creating storybook-inspired scenes, playful characters, and botanical curiosities that invite a brief pause and a glimmer of delight.

Working in both digital and traditional mediums, I enjoy collaborating with all types of clients - from nonprofits to authors to small businesses - to bring their stories to life.

I've lived in the PNW my entire life and have called Portland home for 10 years. Most of my artwork is dreamed up while hiking through Forest Park, visiting neighborhood cats in St. Johns, and dilly-dallying in my garden.
