In the fall of 2024, I collaborated with the ACLU of Oregon to illustrate their year-end campaign, which served as a call to action to energize current and potential donors.
I illustrated a full suite of campaign materials, including direct mail postcards, a poster for current donors (paired with a remit envelope for mailed donations), and a set of digital illustrations for social media.
Brief
Amidst political uncertainty, the ACLU of Oregon embraced an "evergreen" campaign theme, reflecting the its enduring commitment to defending civil rights, no matter the outcome of the 2024 presidential election. To echo this idea, we drew inspiration from Oregon’s wild landscapes, using native species like trilliums and oxalis to evoke resilience, reciprocity, and interconnectedness.
Poster
The accompanying poster expands upon the evergreen theme, depicting figures set deep within the Pacific Northwest wilderness. Silhouetted against the sunset and framed by native flora and fauna, they stand together, interwoven into the vast landscape. Like them, we are all part of something bigger.
