Design Notes

Using bold, simplified shapes and a limited color palette inspired by board books, I designed this piece to mature alongside Henry: It’s nursery-appropriate, but not too babyish for a growing kid.

As with all my nursery commissions, I designed the composition to stand alone as a complete image yet remain balanced when partially covered by a crib or other furniture.
